General Motors has been a supporter of Minority Engineering Programs at Purdue University since its inception in 1974! We are proud to have them as a Keynote Partner and we are excited about the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program that awards up to $25,000 to 100 students each year. Thanks for all that you do!
Buick Achievers Scholarship Program
The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program was launched by General Motors in 2011. Each year, it recognizes 1100 outstanding high school and current undergraduate college students from across the country. These scholarships are geared towards students that lack financial resources to attend college.
This program supports students interested in pursuing careers in the automotive and related industry and will be studying science, technology, engineering, math, design and select business fields.
As one of the largest scholarship programs in the country, the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is distinguished by its renewable aspect. 100 nationwide students receive up to $25,000 a year renewable for up to four years and one additional year for qualified first year engineering programs. Additionally, 1000 students receive a one time $2000.00 award.
