The Minority Engineering Program at Purdue University Celebrates the Life of Jackie Jimerson

Jackie Jimerson invested more than 35 years recruiting and retaining students from historically underrepresented and majority populations into the field of Pharmacology. She has been a beacon of light for thousands that have matriculated through the College of Pharmacy at Purdue University. She will be missed.

The College of Pharmacy regrets to announce the passing of Ms. Jackie Jimerson, former Director of the Office of Multicultural Programs. Arrangements are being planned for a memorial service on Friday, September 11, from 3:30-6:00 PM at the Black Cultural Center at Purdue University. Additional details will be forthcoming.

The family is requesting any photos, old or new, that you may have with Ms. Jimerson. Please feel free to share them via email to e-mail). Photos can also be shared on Facebook at Purdue College of Pharmacy Alumni Organization (a photo album has been created for Jackie Jimerson).
Ms. Jimerson made a remarkable difference in the lives of many students. Her legacy lives on through the students, and her impact will continue to be felt for uncounted years to come.
